Cancellation policy

Last updated: 15 September 2026. This policy explains how to cancel a SaviForex booking, what happens if you do not collect, and how that interacts with online payments. Refund amounts and timelines are in the refund policy.

1. Merchant

2. How to cancel

You may cancel a booking before foreign currency or a travel card is handed over by:

• Calling or WhatsApping the pickup desk with your order number and registered mobile; or
• Submitting the contact form with the subject “Cancel booking” and the order number; or
• Visiting the desk during Monday–Saturday 10:00–19:00 IST with your booking reference.

Cancellation is confirmed when we reply (call, WhatsApp or SMS) or mark the order Cancelled on our system.

3. Free cancellation before pickup

If you cancel before collection, the booking is cancelled at no charge. If you already paid INR online, we process a full refund under the refund policy. If you chose Pay on Delivery and have not paid, we simply release the slot.

4. Cancelling during online checkout

If you close the payment window or tap cancel before a successful payment, the payment is not completed. You may try Pay now again or switch to Pay on Delivery by contacting the desk. This is not a paid-order cancellation.

5. Uncollected bookings

Please collect within two working days of a paid booking (excluding the day of payment if you pay late evening, and excluding Sundays and notified holidays). If you do not collect and do not request a later slot:

• We may cancel the booking to free stock.
• INR already paid online is refunded under the refund policy (full refund if notes were not issued).
• Tell us if your flight moved; we can usually hold or rebook for a later working day by agreement.

6. After handover — no cancellation of the sale

Once notes or a loaded card are issued at the till, you cannot cancel that sale. Leftover notes can be sold back at the live sell rate. That is a new transaction, not a cancellation.

7. Cancellation by SaviForex

We may cancel before handover if KYC fails, documents are not produced, the amount is not permitted under FEMA, the currency cannot be sourced, or we reasonably suspect fraud. You will be told by phone or WhatsApp. Paid INR is refunded as in the refund policy.

8. Sell (buy-back) bookings

A leftover-currency appointment can be cancelled any time before you visit, at no charge. If you walk in and we cannot accept the notes (condition or series), there is no cancellation fee — the appointment simply ends.

9. Effect on rates

A cancelled unpaid quote does not lock a rate. After a paid booking is cancelled and refunded, a new booking uses the board then in force.
